The global bioeconomy is gaining pace and the UK is positioning itself at the forefront. Illustrating the progress made in exploiting industrial biotechnology in the UK, the Industrial Biotechnology Leadership Forum (IBLF) is hosting an event to showcase recent examples of IB success.

Key speakers will describe how the UK has achieved success in IB, highlighting exemplar projects, processes and products, and expand upon the UK strategy for IB to 2015 and beyond. A panel discussion will also provide delegates with the opportunity to hear from senior industrialists and stakeholders. We are pleased to announce that this showcase event will also host the “BIOCHEM Accelerator Forum” which will run in parallel to the main event. BIOCHEM is a Europe-wide programme funded by the European Commission (DG Enterprise and Industry) to support companies, particularly SMEs and start ups, in entering the rapidly emerging market for bio-based products.
